Italian Beefless Macaroni

My husband came up with this recipe by basically just grabbing what we had left in our pantry and refrigerator (the next day was grocery shopping day so we were low on options).. BUT it turned out amazing and is now one of our go-to recipes for dinner.

Italian Beefless Macaroni

2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil

1/4 cup died onion

1/4 cup diced bell pepper (1/2 a pepper)

1/2 bag of thawed Gardein Ultimate Beefless Ground

Can of diced tomatoes

1 cup elbow or macaroni noodles

Pink Himalayan Salt

Ground Pepper

Italian Seasonings


Heat 2 Tbsp of vegetable oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Saute diced onion and bell pepper until tender. Add Ultimate Beefless Ground and cook for approximately 5 minutes. Stir in diced tomatoes and uncooked noodles. Add salt, ground pepper, and italian seasonings to taste. Cover pan and cook for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Once noodles are tender, it is ready to serve.


What I love most about this recipe is how quick and easy it is.. which is essential in our crazy household! We usually add buttered bread to the side and the kids scarf it down, usually even wanting seconds!
